"Har window kuch kehtaa hai"

I have always felt some mystical ,some anxious, some enthusiastic whenever i see windows because they always paved way for my imaginations as to what must be happening besides them :). I don't know how many of you share same feelings.
There have been different phases of my life and every phase is associated with windows that i always look through to find some thing thats hidden behind them. As a child or rather student I remember those long hours of study and the window in my study room; when i used to look through them every now and then as and when i got bored of my studies. Late at night be it 2 or 3 whenever i went to sleep it was my habit to look into dark to find something, to know all other windows in the area which are still lit. To know who else is a partner to me in studies, because my friends house was near by and i wanted to know if they were also still studying :)

Then when i got a job and lived in PG every evening after job we stand in balcony to see the life of other normal people who are not software engineers:)

I feel that software engineers are altogether different genre of people who rarely faces any windows in their closed offices and have no exposure tp window scenes. And the evening balcony session  was a treat for a software engineer because now you can look around and find people do much better things rather than sit in front of computers for hours and hours. Kids playing, group of aunts chit chatting, shopkeepers, traffic, buses, cars, bikers, young lads enjoying, that window used to open me to a whole new world.

Then when I am married and not on job  i find these windows very interesting. The window of my opposite flat tell me whether my neighbor is in or not as ...as long he is in I can watch his TV through his window, again there are windows ; whose lights when on tell me whether my friends in near by flats are at home or gone for an evening walk.........If someone has been out of town that too i can tell when i see that there are no lights turn on for more than a day.

When i go for morning walks i like to look through all open windows and find how someone has decorated his house in Xmas time many a Xmas tree are visible through them. Sometimes I see very beautiful paintings, wind chimes, curtains that are showcasing through the windows :)

So yes "har window kuch kehatie hai." it might not be a tale but yes some beautiful things, some secrets, some mischevious habits :)

BURA na MANO HOLI HAI !!

Happy Holi to all the readers !!!

I know most of us know why do we celebrate holi ..bcoz ......Radha Krishna celebrated holi :)

If Radha Krishan had not played one ............had we played so ???

I don't really know but I guess .if they had not played it.............might be holi was not been so popular............and not many people knew of it....and might be our ancestors didn't know about it....and eventually we might not have been aware that there is a festival of colors HOLI !!!!

I know this is all hypothetical......but I am thinking all this because in the story of Prahalad, Hirankashyap and Holika..there is no concept of colors !!!! for those who don't know about that story let me know and i shall get the topic for my next blog :)

But here we are focusing on festival of colors Holi and how is it related to Holika ? No colorful holi is not at all realted to Holika.....only the part of victory of good over evil where we burn holika and save prahalad is related to Holika.

The later part that means the next day when we play with colors all credit goes to Radha Krishan..............as after my research through many websites i found out that playing with colors was started by Krishna .......and lately all boys in vrindavan followed the suite because after all which boys would not like to play holi with gopis :)

So now you know that if Krishna and Radha had not played holi then no one would have............neither our ancestors and nor us................so you see finally my hypothesis was so correct.

If you feel confused and irritated  then "BURA na MANO HOLI HAI !!!"

A news that really excites me !!!

A shortlist of 50 candidates from 22 countries has been selected for "the best job in the world" -- being well paid to spend six months on a tropical Australian island, organisers said Tuesday.  This is the same job whose website was hit so many times that it came down just after the openning was announced.

I am delighted that there are 2 Indians among them and I am also delighted that Kim whom i follow on exotica on Star Plus is also among those sjortlisted.

One more thing which came to  my mind was I came to know what sort of people apply for such jobs. One is a Traveller and  another is a RJ Anjaan. These people are adventurous people who have fallen for adventure naturally all there lives :)

Someone who can speak and entertain others with their witty comments and who can explore world !!!

This is really interesting. Have a look at the article at the link below and do not fail to vote for deserving candidates.
